1) “AGNEEPRASTHA”, the Missile Park: Foundation Stone laid:- On May 29, 2020, foundation stone for a missile park called “Agneeprastha” was laid at INS Kalinga. The Missile Park aims to provide information about the history of INS Kalinga. The main attraction of the park is the P-70 Ametist.
The missile park is to be dedicated to officers, sailors and other support staff that have served in support of INS Kalinga.

The Missile Park will also be a motivational arena for minds that are interested in missiles and missile technologies.

2)Rozgar Setu Scheme launched by Madhya Pradesh for skilled workers:- Madhya Pradesh Government launched Rojgar Setu Yojana to help migrant workers. The scheme provides employment to the migrant workers.

The Rozgar Setu scheme will provide employment to migrant workers that have returned to their homes. The scheme is to conduct a complete survey on population of the State.

3)Svamitva Scheme:- The Svamitva Scheme was launched to map rural lands that are inhabited. The mapping is to be done using drones. Svamitva is Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas.

The scheme will help to provide integrated validation solution. The scheme will also help in revenue collection in rural areas.

4)CIPET renamed as Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology:-The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology has now been renamed as Central Institute of Petrochemicals, Engineering and Technology.

The name change was registered under Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975.

5)United Nations Military Gender Advocate of the year award to India’s major Suman Gawani:- On the eve of International Day of UN Peacekeepers that is being marked on May 29, Indian major Suman Gawani and Brazilian Naval Officer Carla Monteiro de Castro Araujo are to be presented with the United Nations Military Gender Advocate of the year 2019 award.

Suman is being presented with the award for her outstanding contribution in UNMISS.

UNMISS is the United Nations Mission in South Sudan. It was established in 2011. As of May 2019, around 15,000 military personnel have been employed in the mission.
