1)The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, presented Dada Saheb Phalke Award to Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

About Dadasaheb Phalke Award :-The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India’s highest award in cinema.

It is presented annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation set up by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

First time presented in 1969 to Devika rani.


Dada saheb made India’s fjrst full length movie called Raja Harishchandra.

2)Long March 5:- China has successfully launched its largest carrier rocket, Long March-5, carrying the Shijian-20 satellite, from Wenchang Space Launch Center (WSLC).

The rocket which is also known as CZ-5 is China’s heaviest and most advanced communications satellite. It can carry a maximum payload of 25 tonnes into geosynchronous rohit.

3)RBI Financial Stability Report :-

RBI released Financial Stability Report. The report is biennial and reflects the collective assessment of the Sub-committee of Financial Stability and Development Council.

The report said that the non-performing asset ratio of banks is increasing. It was 9.3% in September 2019 and may rise to 9.9% in September 2020.
