Aday after the World HealthOrganization (WHO) declared the corona virus outbreak a pandemic, equity markets worldwide went into a bear phase — denoted by more than 20% fall from the recent highs of the benchmarks.

About NIFTY :-

4)News :- New environment law cuts time for hearings

The draft EIA notification proposes to be an update to the EIA of 2006, which specifies a “minimum of 30 days” for people to respond.

The current version of the update, which will likely become law in 60 days, gives a “minimum of 20 days” of notice period.

It also requires that the publichearing process be wrapped upin 40 days, as opposed tothe existing norm of 45 days. Under the process, an organisation has to submit adetailed plane explaining the nature, need, and remedial measures, if their proposed project could significantly impact a region.

5)CSIR develops Bi-Luminescent Security ink to Curb Fake Currency Notes :- The ink is white in colour when placed under normal white light. When placed under Ultraviolet light, it turns red. Later it turns Green when the UV light is turned off.

The ink produced by mixing two different colours namely green and red in the ratio 3:1.

This mixture was hated to 400-degree Celsius.

As it was clear that Russia was not ready to cut its output further, the Saudis moved to the attack mode.

The plan is to flood the markets with Saudi oil and depress the prices, which would hurt all oil exporters.
